Account Manager - Tier One

Pontiac, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery     is working with a privately held multinational company in the automotive space.  Our 50 year old client is stable, growing and paid out their bonuses above 100% for the last 4 years and look to continue with strong growth. Because of this, they have a newly created position for an Account Manager.

What you will do: The Junior Account Manager is responsible for achieving new business sales targets, expansion of sales to existing customers and successfully managing all aspects of assigned customer relationships. The role achieves agreed annual sales/new business targets, maintains active and effective networking relationships within OEM organizations to identify business growth opportunities, and supports the immediate supervisor in developing on-time, accurate, and complete quote packages. The position negotiates engineering/design projects for customers on a project basis, pursues opportunities to conduct technology shows, presents new product concepts to customer design, engineering and purchasing teams, and reviews all purchase orders and invoices. Additionally, the Junior Account Manager is responsible for payment collections that fall beyond terms and maintaining accurate, accessible and organized documentation.

What you need: Bachelor Degree in Business or Marketing. Current automotive account/sales management experience. Experience working in a manufacturing environment. Experience in managing project’s campaigns, coordinating team members, developing timetables and setting deadlines in order to achieve client objectives, successful sales/account development. Successful experience in negotiating sales contracts, coordinating the preparation/costing of new product quotes.
