Account Manager - GM/Ford

Auburn Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   movementsearch.com    is working with a leading supplier of electronic components to the automotive industry.  Due to their growth, they have a newly created Account Manager.

What you will do: The account manager will be tasked with managing new/existing programs while increasing business with key accounts, in this case Ford OR GM.  This will include interaction with finance, engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, quality, planning and management to meet budgets and timing for new product launches. This is a direct customer facing role with the Tier Customers to managing  prices, margins,  maintenance and cost reductions.  This role will also create fiscal year sales budget  and monitor sales forecast and NA vehicle market data while benchmarking the company’s market position to determine major competitive threats and gain market competitiveness.  This role will oversee all  engineering team activities from concept through launch to ensure customer requirements are met.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering preferred)  Current experience in an account management role. Recent experience with Ford OR GM. Strong understanding of electrical products. Demonstrated established relationships with OEM customers.
