Novi, Michigan – Movement Search and Delivery   www.movementsearch.com    is working with an international supplier to the automotive industry. Our client is a major Tier One for German automotive company. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for an Account Manager.

What you will do: The Account Manager maintains a healthy and profitable relationship with assigned customers by managing all aspects of the account. The role assembles, verifies and proofs all internal/external advice to management regarding commercial events, develops/maintains relationship with customers, and develops business proposals, while also managing/controlling all scheduled commercial events. The position manages outstanding account issues including non-payment, amortization agreements and monolith reconciliations, manages pricing, quoting, negotiation and contracts, and maximizes opportunity for profitability enhancement. Additionally, the Account Manager meets internally with engineering, prototype, purchasing, quality and accounting department to accurately summarize costs, negotiates/determines price agreements, and prepares, attends and presents to customers in scheduled meetings, while also forecasting current and future sales.

What you will need: Technical bachelor’s Degree. Current experience in account management. Mid-range experience in customer service role. Current experience in the automotive industry. Proficient is SAP.  Knowledge of engineering fundaments, mechanical systems, automotive systems, and exhaust systems.
