Account Manager

Davison, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery  www.movementsearch.com/jobs  is working with a supplier of civil engineering and construction management products. Due to recent growth within the company, they have opened a position for an Account Manager.

What you will do: The Account Manager is responsible for the development of new business and represents the primary technical point of contact for the customers. The position manages strategic account plans that drive retention, penetration, profitability, and growth of existing accounts in assigned portfolio, submits new product ideas gained through customer interaction, and reviews customer project specification, while also securing orders from existing and new customers. The role establishes professional customer/vendor relationships with appropriate personnel, demonstrates the technology to prospects, manages project activities with other functional areas, and supports intellectual property and industry solutions development by supplying market intelligence. Additionally, the Account Manager maintains a project database for all applicable applications and provide a sales forecast for high probability accounts, provides marketing feedback and input to Sales Manager on website, literature, trade shows, advertisements, and editorial materials, and assists in the installation, training, and commissioning of equipment, while also submitting weekly itineraries of future sales activity.

What you will need: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Experience in selling products for construction management and civil engineering. Current experience in account management role or supporting sales activities.
