Account Manager


Troy, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery  is working with a 10,000 employee tier one supplier to the automotive industry. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Sales Account Manager.

What you will do: The Sales Account Manager prepares timely quotes, leads price and commercial price negotiations, and interacts with customer’s product planning, purchasing, engineering, inventory control and other department during sales process. The position familiarizes OES customer quoting methods and procedures, issues resolution to remove constraints to business relationships, and resolves debit/credit memos (retros) with Accounting, while also tracking/improving supplier scorecards. The role maintains sales records and documentation, supports sales planning and performance, assists with mentoring interns. Additionally, the Sales Account Manager cooperates with other company entities to ensure on-time delivery and achievement of expected customer satisfaction metrics.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in business with current experience in sales. Prior experience in Automotive Aftermarket sales. Account Management experience with OES sales experience handling at least one major automaker. Knowledge of and experience navigating Automotive customer websites desired.
