Troy, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a growing, diversified, publicly traded 40-year-old company that is a leading supplier to the commercial automotive industry. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Key Account Manager – GM.
What you will do: The Key Account Manager – GM is the main contact point for customer engineering and purchasing departments. The role coordinates communication between customer and overseas departments, is responsible for overall relationship with customers, and obtains new business, by identifying new opportunities globally. The position coordinates RFQs, with support from the overseas sales department, analyzes regional/global market/customer trends, and leads/coordinates several programs in parallel. Additionally, the Key Account Manager keeps communication with colleagues from sales and engineering in China, Europe, Mexico, Brazil, Korea and USA, creates/maintains internal and external open issues lists, and supports customer and internal teams as necessary for successful launch of programs.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Current experience in account management for an automotive supplier. Working experience with GM. Knowledge of GM customer portals, APQP and PPAP processes. Ability to travel domestic and abroad.
