Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a national manufacturer of turbines. Due to their recent growth, the company has opened a position for a Commercial Finance Director.
What you will do: The Commercial Finance Director provides financial analysis, operational insight and strategic business partner to the VP and is responsible for designing a financial reporting system and appropriate metrics to support growth and reporting for the assigned business unit. The role develops/sustains metrics for measuring performance consistently across the Global Service business, directs the financial analysis and evaluation of ongoing business and investments, including capital and acquisition candidates, and directs the efforts of tax accounting, tax planning and treasury to minimize effective tax and treasury costs and mitigate risk. The position develops/directs annual financial plan, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow, is responsible for the development of the five-year business plan, and advises management of monthly actual results as measured against the established plan and forecasts, recommending areas of immediate concern as to deviations, risks or opportunities. Additionally, the Commercial Finance Director provides analysis of business performance and future business development opportunities, devises innovative analysis to provide insight into business strengths and weaknesses, and identifies business problems and weaknesses.
What you will need: Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance. Professionally qualified accountant (CPA, Chartered Accountant, MBA). Experience in an international commercial accounting role at a managerial level. Experience with ERP and CRM applications. Exposure to all forms of risk management including contract, legal and financial risk and a working knowledge of multiple corporate tax regimes and regulations. Service/aftermarket experience and management of diverse, global group preferred.
