Rochester Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a 10,000 employee tier one supplier to the automotive industry. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for an Account Manager – Plastic Assembly Systems.
What you will do: The Account Manager – Plastic Assembly Systems presents various technologies for assembly and automation integration to both the engineering and purchasing communities. The role secures purchase orders for projects by aligning proposals with appropriate requirements, assists customer with design criterion for various assembly operations, and directs customers to the technology best suited for the project both in both cost and concept. The position lines up proposal engineering with data and RFQ information, assists with recommendations for technology/content in order to meet margin expectations, and grows relationships within the customer base, while also reviewing concepts and making recommendations for specifications on a customer’s RFQ. Additionally, the Account Manager – Plastic Assembly Systems participates in a weekly sales meeting with upper management to report account activity, enters purchase orders into a company database system, and assists customers with manufacturability and/or cost savings ideas to align for advantages in sourcing decisions.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree. Engineering/program management with some sales experience in plastics or automation industry. Experience in the automotive industry.
