Troy, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with an international supplier of raw materials and electronics to the manufacturing industry. Due to recent growth, the company has opened a position for an Embedded Software Engineer.
What you will do: The Embedded Software Engineer understands customer specific vehicle high voltage battery and battery management systems. The position works with software validation engineers in the development of test cases, delivers Matlab S-functions, designs, tests and maintains hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) systems, and develops battery plant models using Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow. The role develops test automation within HIL environment, reporst defects, reviews software design documents and code to understand functionality and supports end customer and manufacturing issue resolution.
What you will need: B.S in Electrical, Computer Engineering or equivalent. Current experience in embedded systems software verification/validation. Experience configuring and executing test cases against HIL systems common to automotive (dSpace, National Instruments, etc.). In depth experience with automotive CAN communication using Vector Tools (CANoe, CANalyser, CANAPE, etc). Test automation using Python, CAPL and either dSPACE Controldesk/AutomationDesk or NI TestStand. Knowledge of HV Battery Pack & Hybrid/Electric Vehicle operation. Vehicle HV Battery testing experience desired.
