Production Planning/Control Specialist

Farmington Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs   is working with a global Tier One supplier to the automotive industry. Due to their growth, they have a newly opened position for a Production Planning/Control Specialist.

What you will do: The Production Planning/Control Specialist is responsible for production control activities, including management of production schedules and building plans to meet customer demands. The position keeps management informed of production status, works in conjunction with production planning, and is responsible for scheduling the product flow throughout the manufacturing process. The role ensures timely completion of manufacturing orders by ensuring availability of resources, maintains engineering change management, and provides pre-production build tracking and management. Additionally, the Production Planning/Control Specialist supplies vehicle modification and repair implementation and tracking.

What you will need: Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Industrial Management (or equivalent)..a degree in the life sciences won’t work.  Current experience in a supplier quality engineering role with plastics/injection molding.  Experience in the Automotive industry. Understanding of a matrix environment.
