Plant Quality Manager

Skokie, Illinois – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs   is working with national leader in manufactured components supplied to a litany of industries. Due to recent growth within the company, they have opened a position for a Quality Manager.

What you will do: The Quality Manager manages product quality, critical feature, and reliability analysis input to product teams, while additionally participating in reliability testing and analysis. The role coordinates quality department activities to ensure design requirements are conveyed to the unit level and appropriate inspection, measurement, and test controls and procedures are established. The position not only provides input to manufacturing engineering and production management from process capability studies for continuous improvement but also provides assistance with repeatability and reproducibility (R&R) analysis. Additionally, the Quality Manager is responsible supporting development of production test systems to collect, analyze and report measurements for ongoing improvements, while also developing production testing protocol and support through product launch by engaging with the project team to create test requirements that can be converted into quality test specifications.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Current experience in quality assurance. Experience in manufacturing management. Experience in fasteners is a huge plus. Experience in the automotive industry is a plus.
