V&V Manager

Troy, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs  is working with an international supplier of raw materials and electronics to the manufacturing industry. Due to recent growth, the company has opened a position for a V&V Manager.

What you will do: The V&V Manager creates work plan for V&V team, executes all project test plan to meet customer deliverable work products on committed dates, and designs/maintains Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems (dSPACE and NI Systems). The position work with SoX team to develop battery plant models using Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow for validation and verification in static and dynamic test environment, while also developing test automation within HIL environment, using test executors and automation engines. The role plans equipment budget and asset maintenance, executes tests on Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) System, and drives/executes all investigation of any root cause analysis. Additionally, the V&V Manager supports end customer and manufacturing issue resolution, supports Senior management and sales team for new business quote, and plans for budget, equipment, resources for new business.

What you will need: B.S in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering. Embedded software verification/validation using HIL experience. Experience leading a team of engineers. Strong understanding of embedded system validation and verification process and procedures. Knowledge of HV Battery Pack & Hybrid/Electric Vehicle operation. Familiarity with System/Software Engineering process. Embedded Software Engineering and programming languages such as C/C++ /Assembly / Python knowledge. Experience with Major automotive microprocessors (Motorola/Freescale, Intel, STMicro).
