Auburn Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with an international supplier to the automotive industry. Due to recent growth, the company has opened a position for a Technical Operations Engineer.
What you will do: The Technical Operations Engineer is responsible for technical operations support during initial system test, installation and commissioning. The role resolves technical issues encountered during operations by organizing support, arranges for and manages investigative work on components, and reports said findings. The position follows up with HQ on any quality issues that adversely impact customer operations to identify root cause(s) and remedial actions for customer briefings, while also providing system engineering and product specialist support in discussions with NA-based customers. Additionally, the Technical Operations Engineer provides verbal and/or written project status reports to management.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Experience in complex mechanical assembly preferably in the energy industry. Experience with installation of energy storage systems or renewable energy products or systems to electric utilities or project developers would be highly desirable. Familiarity with software programming tools.
