Controls Engineer - Manufacturing

St. Louis, Missouri – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs     is working with a leading supplier of industrial robots, modular manufacturing systems and service. Due to their recent growth, they have opened a position for a Controls Engineer – Transformers.

What you will do: The Controls Engineer – Transformers manages/oversees control engineering projects and processes related power application in general and transformers in particular. The role is responsible for planning and scheduling, cost estimating and monitoring, and quality review, establishes operating policies to mitigate risks for new and retrofit projects, and provides support and guidance for project managers. The position leads, engages in or reviews a wide range of complex technical analyses and investigations, finalizes or assists higher level managers in finalizing and presenting proposals or recommendations, and proactively develops/implements measures to cost effectively achieve goals and increase customer satisfaction. Additionally, the Controls Engineer plans, schedules, and assigns work, establishing priorities, promotes independent actions to improve operating efficiencies and customer relations, and provides administrative support to senior managers and assist with technical development of staff.

What you will need: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering. Current control engineer or design engineer experience. Transformer design experience. Experience with working with the development team.
