Canoe, Alabama  – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com   is working with a global manufacturer of automotive components. Due to their recent growth, they have opened a position for a Process Engineer just northeast of the city of Mobile.

What you will do: The Process Engineer manages the launch of all new and changed OEM clutch plate products through the comprehensive APQP process, completes all APQP documents, and generates cost analysis for new products. The role writes reports to communicate analytical data for the customer, supports plant corrective and preventative actions that improve reliability, while also launching products. The position develops project plans, serves as a trainer of new equipment and procedures, and additionally, monitors pre/post launch activities. Further responsibilities include researching new technologies, knowing basic knowledge of all processes, and working closely with all departments.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in mathematics, physics, or engineering. Knowledge of metal stamping, wash lines, vibratory deburr, convection, induction, infrared, and platen curing. Knowledgeable with MQ1 modules and expert in APQP modules.
