Troy, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with an international supplier to the automotive industry. Due to recent growth, the company has opened a position for a Technical Operations Engineer.
What you will do: The Technical Operations Engineer is responsible for providing specialist R&D support to customers, resolving field issues encountered during installation/commissioning, scheduled maintenance, and unplanned maintenance, and resolving of technical issues encountered during operations. The role arranges for and manages investigative work on components forwarded to facilities, reports findings and coordinates follow-up actions. The position follows up on any quality issues, coordinates production of QA reports, and provides system engineering and product specialist support. Additionally, the Technical Operations Engineer provides verbal and/or written project status reports to management.
What you will need: Technical bachelor’s degree. Experience in complex mechanical assembly preferably in the energy industry. Experience with installation of energy storage systems or renewable energy products or systems to electric utilities or project developers is highly desirable. Specialist knowledge of LG Chem’s products and technology, with specific detailed understanding of the company’s BMS hardware and software and prerequisites for this specialist position. Familiarity with software programming tools.
