Production Supervisor - Manufacturing

Rock Hill, South Carolina – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs   is working with a multi-national manufacturing conglomerate with a workforce numbering over 16,000 people world-wide.  Their location in the Rock Hill area has over 300 employees over a multi-shift environment.  Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Production Supervisor.

What you will do: The Production Supervisor provides leadership and direction to the safety of all employees and visitors to the facility, leads, coaches, and mentors a crew in meeting safety, quality and production goals, and develops crew members for improving individual and organization performance. The position leads performance management and corrective action processes for assigned crew, continuously improves plant performance through process improvements and lean methodologies, and maintains the plant’s union-free status through the use of positive employee relations and employee engagement. The role works with scheduling to optimize production requirements, works with upstream and downstream people and processes to meet customer expectations, and leads, tracks, and improves performance on key location goals and objectives.

What you will need: Bachelor’s degree. Supervisory experience working in a fast pace, 24/7/365 production environment. Knowledgeable at maintaining accurate employee documentation and files. Willingness to work a 12 hour, rotating shift schedule.
