Engineering Reliability Manager

Nacogdoches, Texas – Movement Search & Delivery    www.movementsearch.com/jobs   is working with an engineered wood products manufacturer that services the construction industry for both residential and commercial markets.  Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Reliability Engineering Manager.

What you will do: The Reliability Engineering Manager is responsible for identifying and managing asset reliability risks that could adversely affect plant or business operations. The role works with project engineering to ensure the reliability and maintainability of new and modified installations, adheres life cycle asset management (LCAM), and participates in the development of design and installation specifications along with commissioning plans. The position participates in the development of criteria for and evaluation of equipment, participates in the final check-out of new installations, and guides efforts to ensure reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, utilities, facilities, controls and safety/security systems. Additionally, the Reliability Engineering Manager defines, designs, develops, monitors and refines value-added preventive maintenance tasks and predictive and other non-destructive testing methodologies.

What you will need: BS in Engineering. Current experience in reliability management. Experience in the forest products industry preferred (wood, wood products, paper, pulp). Experience in project management. Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge and aptitude. Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and the tools associated with failure detection (i.e. vibration analysis, oil monitoring, thermography).
