Balancing Machine Field Service Engineer

Southfield, Michigan – Movement Search and Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs   is working with a leading Tier-One provider of process equipment used in manufacturing facilities.  Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Resident Field Service Engineer – Balancing Machines who will manage a regional territory.

What you will do: The Resident Field Service Engineer – Balancing Machines will provide support for equipment installations at client sites, including start-up commissioning and user training.  This will include support for on-site equipment maintenance and repair while supporting/facilitating orders for replacement parts.  This is a customer facing role that will work closely with customers to identify needs and service problems by building the customer relationship for preventative maintenance on products.

What you will need: Programming and troubleshooting experience with Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLC systems. Experience with balancing machines.

Current experience with mechanical/electromechanical equipment with advanced technology in a manufacturing environment.   Ability to interpret process instrumentation, electrical and PLC schematic diagrams Strong overall experience in mechanical troubleshooting and repair.  Troubleshooting experience in Basic Electrical and Low Voltage systems.  Troubleshooting experience ion equipment utilizing PLC and Digital I/O systems.  The ability to travel regionally and nationally up to 50%
