Security Engineer

Cordele, Georgia – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs   is working with a growing, multi-billion dollar manufacturing client. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Security Engineer.

What you will do: The Security Engineer determines the core cyber-security standards for Web and IoT systems development across all of ABTS, researches/evaluates vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and associated risks to determine which ones are relevant to systems, and evaluate/recommend technologies related to cyber-security detection and/or prevention. The role assists in the definition of standard work for systems software development, acts a mentor to software developers in all aspects of security, and participates in the architecture of applications including database design, process flow, networking, cloud infrastructure, security and appropriate technology use. The role provides training classes and/or material to developers and project managers, participates in interviews and assessments of technology candidates, and attends software technology conferences and events.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science. Experience in the security field. Current experience working for a manufacturer. Experience in web based security, IoT security, and networking protocols. Ability to conduct architecture security reviews and define standard system security architectures. Software code knowledge and application testing experience is a plus.
