Troy, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a large tier one automotive supplier and due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Black Belt.
What you will do: The Black Belt leads teams to drive projects and initiatives with broad scope and high impact to the business, is responsible for major and complex projects with long-term business implications, and contributes to strategy and manages complex issues within functional areas of expertise. The position serves as project leader to ensure initiation, progress and on-time completion of project deliverables, implements “Lean” techniques and methodologies during project execution in order to achieve defined project objectives, and communicates progress, status and issues to executive champion and business leaders. Additionally, the Master Black Belt serves as change agent by stimulating, communicating and institutionalizing Operational Excellence initiatives, utilizes broad and deep knowledge to develop innovative new business practices, policies and procedures, trains, coaches, and mentors regarding Continuous Improvement concepts and techniques.
What you will need: Engineering Degree. Six sigma Black Belt certification. Current experience in automotive manufacturing.
