Hartford, Connecticut – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a growing, multi-billion dollar manufacturing client. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Project Manager for their burgeoning software development team.
What you will do: Responsible for effectively managing the expectations, defined development, and delivery of new business systems and applications. The position requires strong technical project management experience, primarily using the agile/Scrum methodology mixed with a lean toolset. The Project Manager will be involved in business requirements analysis, functional and technical design discussions, testing, and collaboration with key strategic partners and other project teams to achieve clearly defined results operating within the agreed upon time, and specifications of each project. This role will manage the activities and priorities of Application Developers, Business Analysts, and DevOps Engineers. This position will manage project communication apprising status and issues to team members, management and other project stake holder.
What you will need: Completed 4 year degree, preferably in Computer Science. Experience using an Agile project management software (specifically Microsoft TFS). The ability to frame technical solutions and subsequently negotiate business acceptance. Knowledge of (UI) user-interface design and deployment. Experience in both agile/Scrum and traditional project management/software development life cycle methodologies. Experience as a Scrum Master is a plus
