Lebanon, Vermont – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a national supplier of turbomachinery systems. Due to recent growth within the company, they have opened a position for a Senior Engineer – Turbomachinery.
What you will do: The Senior Engineer – Turbomachinery designs state-of-the-art turbomachines, carries out high-quality computational fluid dynamics (CFD) calculations, covers component rig testing, and provides detailed aerodynamic analysis based on the data. The position manages/executes a wide range of turbomachinery projects, participates in design reviews, suggests and supports design best practices, and plays a significant role in developing advanced technologies in turbomachinery. The role prepapres sales proposals, including scope of work, project timing, and internal cost estimates, reviews technical proposals, working with prospects, and negotiating with customers to close sales, and ensures sales management is provided with regular sales reports. Additionally, the Senior Engineer – Turbomachinery assists with payments and accounts receivables issues from the customer base within the region and interacts with management, other internal CN departments, sales staff, and outside vendors as needed to achieve objectives as a key member.
What you will need: Engineering degree. Current technical sales or sales support experience in a machine shop or engineering products and/or services industry. Direct exposure to the estimating and sales of pumps, compressors, turbines, or gas turbine engines or parts is highly desirable.
