SQL Server DBA

Southfield, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs  is working with a national supplier of IT services. Due to their recent growth, they have a newly created position for a SQL Server DBA.

What you will do: TThe Database Administrator will be responsible for all aspects of database design, maintenance, optimization, and data mining. Individual will be responsible for multiple plant databases containing trace data, product test data, product flow and pedigree data and will be responsible for reporting systems and ad-hoc queries.  This role is responsible for creation, maintenance, performance monitoring of Database servers.  This role is responsible for plant data mining and reporting for quality searches, operations excellence, ad-hoc searches, PPAC, others.  This position will troubleshoot existing CIM systems to minimize production downtime and insure smooth system operatio and design, test, and validation of applications to support both large and small scale work cell controllers for the manufacturing environment when needed.  Develop custom .NET software to support mistake proofing in the manufacturing environment.  Works with a team of CIM Engineers to assist in software development aspects of larger projects.

What you will need: Bachelor’s degree. Current quality assurance experience. Ability to create XML documents, XML Schemas, SOAP message and JSON message constructs. Knowledge of web based technologies, application servers and patterns. Hands on experience with SQL queries.
