Farmington Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a international supplier of products to the industrial, automotive, aerospace, and commercial industries. Due to their recent growth, they have opened a position for a System Engineer – Gateway Modules.
What you will do: The System Engineer – Gateway Modules is responsible for developing and managing the product’s requirements over the project lifetime. The position transforms customer and internal requirements into a description of the system which enables the project disciplines to confidently design, develop and test components that when integrated into the product will meet customer expectations. The position’s main task is the functional decomposition and translation of the system requirements into clear and specific software, hardware and mechanic requirements which can then be allocated for further requirement refinements. Additionally, the System Engineer – Gateway Modules is responsible for ensuring that the design decisions result in a product that meets the customer and internal requirements, while also heading the requirements control board.
What you will need: BS in an engineering discipline (EE, SW, ME or System). Current experience in a software role. Experience in the development of embedded automotive systems. Knowledge of embedded systems, automotive electronics, body electronic systems, automotive communication buses and protocols (CAN, Ethernet). Knowledge of electronic circuits, PCBs, and embedded software.
