Toledo, Ohio – Movement Search and Delivery   www.movementsearch.com    is working with a leading supplier of power distribution. Due to their recent growth, the company has opened a position for a Field Service Winder.

What you will do: The Field Service Winder performs installation, inspection, maintenance and repairs of turbine generator equipment. The role supports/performs electrical testing of equipment per procedures including Megger, Digital Low Resistance Ohmmeter, AC & DC Hi-potential of cleaning components, removes/replaces rotor and stator wedges and insulation materials, and rewinds equipment including taping, blocking, and banding. The position brazes/unbrazes electrical connectors by torch, resistance, and induction methods, works with chemicals such as epoxy resins, various paints, putties, etc. in performing maintenance and repairs, and works with various electrical, pneumatic and manual hand tools and mechanical and electrical measuring equipment.

What you will need: Current experience in field service mechanics. Experience in service winding. Knowledge of turbine generators.
