Farmington Hills, Michigan  – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com    is working with a international supplier of products to the industrial, automotive, aerospace, and commercial industries. Due to their recent growth, they have opened a position for a Software Engineer.

What you will do: The Software Engineer develops leading edge software in C for automotive embedded controllers in support of vehicle communication and cyber security. The role applies experience to design efficient algorithms and implement re-usable C code for production automotive products, demonstrates leadership in establishing practices that support platform software development, and follows established software development processes, including software work product reviews. Additionally, the Software Engineer works with a global and diverse team of engineers across multiple disciplines and interfaces with OEM customers to determine software requirements, and to ensure the quality of delivered products.

What you will need: BS/MS in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering. Current experience writing low level embedded software in C. Expertise with CAN communication and automotive diagnostics. Understanding of hardware and experience debugging embedded C software at the bench using debugger and oscilloscope. Experience with embedded security topics, automotive cyber-security, automotive Ethernet, and/or AUTOSAR.
