Systems Engineer - Transmission

Auburn Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com    is working with a leading automotive supply manufacturing company.  Due to their growth, the company has a newly created position for a Systems Engineer.

What you will do: The Systems Engineer is responsible for technical product development and it’s functional performance and compliance (ie testing), determines, develops and confirms Mechanical, Electrical and Software Requirements of product, and supports/leads generic projects for creation of next generation products (new applications, technologies and product functions). The role is responsible for the product architecture and design to meet customer and manufacturing plant requirements, for the analysis of customer specification, and creation of compliance matrix and technical proposal in the RFQ phase and beyond, and for the development of test specifications and support of test equipment development in manufacturing plants. The position develops engineering test stands in support of prototype builds and new product technologies, understands and writes code for production and prototype equipment, and develops/support design and product verification lab test stands.

What you will need: BS in physics, electrical or mechanical engineering. Experience in product, system and/or test design. Knowledge of automotive OEM product development/launch systems. Labview programming experience. Transmission and sensor knowledge.
