Due to their recent growth, the company has opened a position for Field Service Engineer – Boiler Tuner.
What you will do: The Field Service Engineer – Boiler Tuner travels extensively to customer sites out of a regional office facilities in USA. The position is responsible for the startup and tuning of DCS based boiler control systems at customer power plants and industrial plant sites, while also working with pulverized coal, fuel oil and natural gas combustion control schemes.
What you will need: BS degree in Engineering with current controls engineering experience. 60%-80% travel to customer sites. Knowledge of boiler control applications, control loops, logic, control valves, sensors, and tuning using DCS based controls required. Experience with coordinated Turbine control required. Experience with Emerson Ovation, ABB Bailey Net 90 or Infi 90, Honeywell, Foxboro, L&N, Max, Metso, GE, Siemens, Yokogawa, Provox or Westinghouse WDPF boiler control systems.
