Plymouth, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a national supplier of automotive components. Due to their recent growth, the company has opened a position for a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor.
What you will do: The 2nd Shift Production Supervisor directs/coordinates work activities and obtains resources necessary for production success. The role provides hands-on leadership and guidance to manufacturing employees, ensures that production delivers product that meets company safety, quality and efficiency requirements, and performs personnel administration activities. The position works with and provides direction to other departments/shifts to solve problems within the manufacturing environment in support of the production scheduling effort, while also ensuring production areas maintain accurate inventory and reject counts. Additionally, the Production Supervisor conducts daily team meetings discussing safety, quality and production metrics, and supports lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you will need: Tier one automotive manufacturing experience. Current experience in a production supervisory role. Ability to work 2nd shift. Experience managing 30+ employees.
