HIL Validation Engineer


Auburn Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com   is working with a global supplier to the automotive industry who is in the top 30 of annual sales. We have been tasked to identify a HIL Validation Engineer for a newly created role.

What you will do: The HIL Validation Engineer is responsible for HIL (Hardware in the Loop) testing, model-based design (Simulink), and design and implementation of test automation. This position develops the entire HIL system from scratch, using dSpace or Scalexio, while also testing cases and pattern development. Additionally, the HIL Validation Engineer provides test planning management and analysis of requirements for testing.

What you will need: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Strong experience in HIL (hardware in the loop). Experience developing complete systems in automotive. Test automation and validation experience. Strong understanding of vector tools and ability to do scripting in Python. Knowledge of SW Test Automation (dSPACE, dSPACE Scalexio: ControlDesk, ConfigurationDesk, AutomationDesk or similar), Scripting Language (Python / C), Matlab/Simulink, Vector CANoe, CANalyser, CANdela Studio, and RF testing. Model Based Development Knowledge.
