Controls Engineer - Automotive


Fenton, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   is working with an international supplier to the automotive industry. Due to recent growth within the company, they have opened a position for a Controls Engineer.

What you will do: The Controls Engineer is responsible for all activities relating to the building of automated equipment, per customer requirements, including fabrication, construction, troubleshooting, and installation. The position designs, implements, and documents control systems for various types of automated equipment and ensures that equipment is designed and programmed to specifications. The role supports installation activities at customer facilities as needed and interfaces with customers and engineering on machine concept and layouts. Additionally, the Controls Engineer follows and interprets mechanical, electrical and related drawings.

What you will need: Current experience with CAD & PLC programming. Strong electrical background. Current experience with assembly, set-up, testing, and debugging of Controls equipment. Current experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably Automotive.
