Process Engineer - Automotive

Spartanburg, South Carolina – Movement Search & Delivery   is working with an international supplier to the automotive industry. Due to recent growth within the company, they have opened a position for a Process Engineer.

What you will do: The Process Engineer is responsible for determining best method to salvage non-conforming material, reviewing material.  Review process for material savings, scrap reduction, material-handling reduction, and operator efficiency improvements, and making recommendations and implementations upon approval. The position is in charge of developing new production methods using engineering fundamentals, developing and implementing new production equipment to improve quality of product, and developing plant layout to improve process flow and minimize material handling. The role formulates, updates, and enters Bill of Materials software system, conducts capacity studies, and develops internal quotations for new products as needed. Additionally, the Process Engineer programs water jets, receives catalogs, and stores production parts, quotes engineering drawings, and reviews quarterly records for retention and review.

What you will need: Current Automotive Experience is a MUST. Experience with Interiors is HIGHLY preferred. Current Process Engineering experience.
