Process Engineer - Automotive

Louisville, Kentucky – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with an international supplier to the automotive industry. Due to recent growth within the company, they have opened a position for a Process Engineer.

What you will do: The Process Engineer establishes proper engineering methods for processing materials to new equipment, prepares budgets, and tracks performance based on projects involving other equipment, materials, or labor contents. The position updates Product Definitions, develops the DFMEA & DFM/A specified by the customer, and ensures that product design complies with product and FMVSS/CMVSS requirements. The role is responsible for design verification & product validation, evaluates & approves design changes, and supports new business quotes.  Additionally, the Process Engineer prepares & issues initial release documentation, participates in launch activities, and leads product/program transitions with current plant engineering.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering strongly preferred. Current experience in process engineering within an automotive manufacturing environment.
