Tooling Manager - Automotive

Gainesville, Georgia   – Movement Search & Delivery   is working with a global Tier One supplier to the automotive industry. Due to their growth, they have a newly opened position for a Tool Shop Manager.

What you will do: The Tool Shop Manager is responsible for ensuring that all maintenance, repair, reconditioning, adjustments, and rebuilds of tools enable the manufactured components and manufacturing processes to meet all specification and quality targets. The position directs mold design, mold building, mold repair, and fixture activity with associated personnel, closely monitors tool shop processes, and works to continuously improve those processes. The role coordinate production of spare parts, participates in the APQP process, and ensures the tool shop supports all manufacturing efforts. Additionally, the Tool Shop Manager is responsible for Tool Shop costs, Safety & housekeeping policies, and the maintenance & care of all of the facility’s equipment.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred. Current Automotive Tooling experience. Current Supervisory/Managerial experience. Current experience qualifying new tools.
