Lead Production Foreman


Dayton, Ohio – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs   is working with an automotive electronics supplier to fill their newly created Production Foreman role, just northwest of Dayton.

What you will do: The Production Foreman draws up a master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders. The role analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements. The position plans/schedules workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times, plans sequence of manufacturing operations for guidance of production workers, and confers with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects. Additionally, the Production Foreman expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions, prepares production reports, and prepares lists of required materials, tools, and equipment.

What you will need: Current experience in manufacturing supervision. Experience with personnel training, production scheduling, and continuous improvement. Experience with plastics is a huge plus.
