Lead Tooling Engineer - Automotive

Pulaski, Tennessee – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs   is working with an international supplier to the automotive industry. Due to recent growth within the company, they have opened a position for a Lead Tooling Engineer.

What you will do: The Lead Tooling Engineer works on tooling and assist toolmakers with daily troubleshooting within the toolroom, delegates troubleshooting and die maintenance responsibilities, and consistently addresses problems. The position works closely with other departments to ensure efficiency, files all reports correctly, and reports all necessary quality production or safety problems to the Tooling Manager. The role will help establish a tracking system to grad all tooling vendors, documents changes to include detail prints, and adequately stocks the tool crib. Additionally, the Tooling Engineer is responsible for quoting and purchasing replacement details, according to budget, purchases spare parts, uses AutoCAD for updating & making prints, and establishes quarterly goals & objectives with the Tooling Manager.

What you will need: Certified Toolmaker. Current experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive stamping. Current experience with AutoCAD or other drawing software.
